HTC Wildfire
The HTC Wildfire is a smartphone developed by the HTC Corporation, that was announced on 17 May 201and released in Europe in June of the same year. It is powered by a 528 MHz Qualcomm processor and runs the Android operating system, version 2.1. It includes an TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen and a 5-megapixel camera. It has been described as a “small”.
Rumored for an October release, the HTC Desire smartphone HD made an appearance over the weekend. The htc smartphone, which also carries a code name of “Ace,” is expected to run Android 2.2 and feature a 4.3-inch touch screen, a 1GHz processor, and an 8-megapixel camera. Other details include 4GB internal memory, HD video playback, XviD video support, SRS surround sound, and a uni-body aluminum case.
The first glimpse of the phone came in the form of a leaked image (translated), which showed only the front of the device. As expected, it looks very similar to Sprint’s Evo 4G. A day later, the folks at 247Android posted a quick video that offered a rather detailed look at the back of the handset. The uni-body design and rubberized accents feel like a mashup of the Legend, Desire and Evo 4G.
As of right now, we don’t have any indications as to which carriers or countries will offer the Desire HD. Given roughly two months before we can expect to see some sort of official announcements, there’s plenty of time for the details to leak out.

Combined with a 3.7 inch sized display touchscreen, HTC Desire is designed to support a web browser and Flash. HTC Desire will be present in the UK through T-Mobile and Orange
Hardware
The PDA Phone has a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor and It includes an active-matrix OLED (AMOLED) screen and a 5-megapixel camera. More recently HTC has switched to a Sony Super LCD display due to a severe supply shortfall of Samsung AMOLED screens. The SLCD display has similar brightness and viewing angles, a significantly poorer contrast ratio, but is much less susceptible to screen burn-in and improves battery life slightly.
The hardware has the potential for high-definition video, a function added with the Android 2.2 update. The Android operating system has the capability to take advantage of the video circuitry onboard the Snapdragon processor, enabling the device to capture and playback video at high-definition 720p on a WVGA screen.
