Author: We have not had sunny weather for so long I thought maybe you had forgot what to wear in the summer sun, so here is some advice for you next hopefully very long weekend with a bank holiday. The surfer look is classic summer and I’m going to tell you what you need to look awesome!
It does not take forever to create an effortless look when wearing urban clothing! If you want to go for the surfer look here are the 5 most important things you have to consider
1. If you want beach shorts then look no further than shorts from Animal Clothing and Roxy if you are a girl. Get a darker hue and have the benefit of being able to walk straight into bars when the evening rolls on without having to change.
2. Take suncream and remeber if you go in the water to re-apply it or get waterproof suncream. You can protect you skin and get a tan at the same time, as many suncreams now come with some sort of tanning feature!
3. Sunglasses are a must for anyone who truly want to pull off the surf dude look. Have a look in the shops and make sure you get a pair of sunglasses that will get noticed. Try and get a pair of sunglasses that suit the shape of your face. This means trying on different colour and shapes of sunglasses.
4. There are so many things you can do with beach towels nowadays, did you know you can create your own uniquely styled towels? You could even put something fun on there like a chess board!
5. Flip Flops The surfer guy look is not complete without a pair of sandals. Loads of celebs are wearing flip flops!
For girls you will always want to get some accessories to go with your beachwear. Hair clips, interesting jewelry all complpete a great beach costume. Wrap around the salon, shorts and sandals are good. Have a great summer and enjoy the beach!
